The organization serves as the mission-driven landlord and social service provider within the hybrid business model, with donations and contributions funding all community programs.

Mission and Purpose

The Welcoming Table's core mission is to provide sanctuary, community connection, nutritional support, and resource navigation to individuals in the Central Pennsylvania region, fostering recovery and holistic well-being.

Organizational Governance

To ensure proper 501c3 compliance and legal integrity, The Welcoming Table operates under strict nonprofit governance:

  • 5-Member Board of Directors comprising Amanda Lynch (President), Todd Lynch (Secretary), a Treasurer, and two independent At-Large directors
  • Formal Conflict of Interest Policy requiring that any lease or transaction with Fallen Rock Enterprises, LLC be approved exclusively by independent directors
  • Annual Fair-Market-Value Review of the $1,500/month lease with Fallen Rock Enterprises
  • Mission-First Allocation: All net rent income is directed back into meals, programs, and facility maintenance rather than distributed to individuals
  • Public Accessibility: All programs are open to the public regardless of faith background or economic status
